Helloooo future Sharks! =)

I haven't found any threads on the upcoming NSU Winter 2015 entering class so here it is.. Does anyone know when they will start calling for interviews? I know the final day to send in apps is Oct 1st so I'm assuming they'll start doing interviews close to that time? Talk about a forever wait! Anyway, I'd love to talk to others in the same boat or anyone who's gone through this recently and can offer any advice.

i am new here,i have my interviews for nova next week and i am super nervous.Any advice?

Congrats!! Study hard, get the Kaplan's book and reheorifice some questions like the ones on job interviews (I guess) such as: what are your strengths and weaknesses? Why do you want to be a nurse? Tell me about yourself. Good luck!! Mine is October 1st :whistling:

Wow I didn't think they would start doing interviews so soon. Did they call or email you? I noticed a few changes on my VIP page along with they unchecked my application fee which made me mad since I paid for it back in July.

Now my nerves are really kicking in! Good luck on your interview. Let us know how it goes please :)

I have my interview next wednesday in Kendall, I'm really nervous about the interview and the exam.Have any of you gone to the interview already?

I just had my interview today and it went great! Scored a 73 on the kaplan and a 70 on the science portion. The interview had very broad questions like what are the strengths and weaknesses in todays nursing, describe yourself, etc. I think I did pretty good! Hopefully I get accepted! :):nailbiting:

Hey everyone I'm new in this thread, I just got an email from nova and my interview is on the 8th, do you guys know from wich edition to study the kaplan?

Yuremaa: I'm studying from the fifth edition, I hope that one is good enough. The math part has me nuts with all of that area of triangles, distace from (x,y) points, hypotenuse and perimeters.... All this info is sooo old for me!! I haven't taken math since MAC1105 back in 2011, LOL. I guess it's time to undust my notes from algebra :dead:

I understand, same here I haven't had any math class since 2011 and my weakness its math :/ but I have hope and if it's not Nova its Mdc lets hope for the best.

They start you off with the kaplan exam. The exam was A LOT of fractions. Then you have an hour break and then the interview follows. The interview consists of broad questions about nursing, a case study with your group, and a short essay you have to write in 5 minutes. Hope I helped! Oh and after they give you a tour!
