Helloooo future Sharks! =)
I haven't found any threads on the upcoming NSU Winter 2015 entering class so here it is.. Does anyone know when they will start calling for interviews? I know the final day to send in apps is Oct 1st so I'm assuming they'll start doing interviews close to that time? Talk about a forever wait! Anyway, I'd love to talk to others in the same boat or anyone who's gone through this recently and can offer any advice.
For the exam, I heard that its mostly physiology(science part). For the math, a lot of fractions. For the interview, there's an essay regarding how you prioritize and they give us about 5 mins to write. Before that, we are put into groups and each asked one question and then they gives us scenarios which we have to solve as a group. That's all I know.
See you tomorrow & good luck
So I just had the interview, the kaplan was basic. Math was basically all fractions. Reading is easy. The writing was a bit tricky so double check that. And science was more focus on physiology than anatomy, so yeah science was hard. My overall kaplan score was 68. But everyone were in the 60 ish, so I didn't felt too bad.the interview was group like they ask you a scenario if you had trouble in the hospital as a nurse how would you solve it....and lastly a short essay on whos youre role model and how did they impact in your life. Everything was easy going dont stress it.
i Was there for interviews at the kendall campus on the 24th. The test portion was about 25-30 per section. The interview went well imo, they just try to get to know you a little better. Oh also you need to write a one page essay, also easy but im not sure why they want that. Anyways, im hoping to get into the Jan 2015 class, good luck to all.
