Hi everyone! Just wanted to know if there is anyone who has applied to NSU's Entry Level BSN program RECENTLY and got in. I want to apply for Fall 2013's program. What was your GPA when you applied, how hard was it do you think to get in overall, just any personal experiences with your application journey.
I have a 3.691 currently and have taken Anatomy 1 & 2 with labs and got A's. Now I'm taking Microbiology and getting a B currently, will I be okay? Still have Chemistry and Human Growth and Dev. to take in the spring.
hey..i bought my scrubs from that store in plantation...do u have a pic of the font we're supposed to use so i can compare it..i bought the more expensive scrubs there and spent almost $150.00. i hope its not the wrong font
hey...im gonna call nova tomorrow to find out for sure but i have 3 friends at the kendall campus and they all have diff font...they all said that as long as long as u have the right color teal and that u have the correct wording on the scrubs, that nova doesnt care about font..i will call to verify tomorrow but 3 ppl that go to kendall told me that theres diff fonts in all their classes.

i bought 2 pairs plus the lab coat...i bought the expensive scrubs by Dickies cuz it fit my bnody way better..the cherokee fit me really weird..i tried on every brand in teal and the only ones that fit me good were the dickies which sucks cuz the top was $25.99 and the bottom was $30 plus the embroidary...for the cherokee the small fit tight but the medium was huge..way baggie...i have 3 friends in the program now who all have diff fonts and said they arent strict with font as long as the teal color is right...i just left a message for kristina so will let you know what she says :)

i went into the Nova bookstore first but all they had was the unisex sizes and they didnt have dressing rooms...she told me i could go try it on in the bathroom in the back...i could see the small was too short and way too wide but since they didnt have the womans in the store i was only planning to try on cherokee sizes at that uniform store so i would know what size to order online and im so glad i did :)
does anyone know for the contract signing fot Baptist on Friday, are we suppose to dress professional like we did for our intervoew or can we dress casual? also, are we gonna do the drug test and background while we're there friday or do we go back a different day for that? i kinda hope they do it all friday while we're already there and to get it out of the way. if anyone knows i would appreciate it...thanks :)

I didn't even try them on lol. I ordered them online and they had women's. I just went by their size charts and thankfully they fit perfectly when I got them in the mail.

lol thank G-d it fit you..im so glad i didnt go by the size chart online because according to the chart i need a size small but the small was tight when i tried it on at the uniform store and the medium was way too big..i must be an in between size..a small and a half lol
just spoke to Nova...they said as long as its the right color teal and it has to have ur first and last name on the top line and NSU Nursing Student below it, that the font doesnt matter so to anyone who bought their scrubs from the uniform store, ypu dont have to buy new ones..and if u already bought new ones, then you wont have to do laundry much lol

I'm going to dress professional but I go to work after so I kinda have to. Either way I think it's a good idea to dress nice for the meeting. And I hope they do everything like the drug screening and background check all on the same day too! But who knows. See you soon!
