I was soooo lost because they also send me something i have to sign and says intent to Ft Mayer, but I think its to see if I want to transfer over there, I HOPE SO and the congrats letter says Nursing entry level-Ft Lauderdale, and that I have to send my transcripts, 2 letters of recomendation, and prove that I had taken Sociology (which I havent) until next semester. They sent me this letter sooooooo late and it says Winter 2010. Tomorrow I am gonna speak to Monica Bermudez and will let u guys know how it went. Gatita, I didnt take Sociology because MDC doesnt really ask u to take it until I found out I need it for Nova. But, I hope they let me in eventough i need the class.
Congrats, to everyone who got accepted to the Ft. Lauderdale and Ft. Myers best of luck. I'll be attending at the Ft. Lauderdale campus. I was wondering if anybody has gotten a booklist yet, I wanted to get started on the reading ASAP. Or if anyone has got their classes scheduled/register yet.
@ Mayte87...I got the acceptance for FT. Myers awhile back...I had completed the process to go there but I got a letter from the Ft. Lauderdale campus on Dec. 4th so I switch decided to go there instead. Lucky, I had already collected everything. So, it was just a matter of resending everything to the Ft. Lauderdale campus.
did u have to go to an interview again? WOW sooo lucky... I am freaking out cause my letter said BSN - Ft Lauderdale but that form that says intent to for Mayers its like killing me and im also missing Sociology that I have to take next semester. I dunno they are soooo late I think cause i got my letter oin Friday and I already have to pay 1000 tomorrow... im like OHH LORD! whats next...lol
@ Mayte 87...No, I interviewed at the FT. Lauderdale campus I just checked the Ft. Myers campus box as well. Sure, do you have a yahoo messenger or something like that?

All the papers that are asking for 2 letter of recommendation and stuff i think might be for the Baptist program which is a scholarship that pays for your tuition if you get accepted. As for taking sociology next semester did you apply for Winter 2010 or Spring of 2010 because i think you need to have all your prereqs done b4 you start nursing. Also if you didn't get a call for an interview for ft myers then it doesn't matter cuz you got into ft.lauderdale. Hope this was helpful
