Nova Southeastern University BSN program Fall 2022

Hello!

I am starting this forum because I have not seen anyone create a NSU Fall 2022 Traditional BSN program. I would like to get in contact with other people that are applying or are in the process of. We could help each other and give advise.

Thank you! I am currently waiting to take the NCLEX so unfortunately I am not an RN as of yet. Nova did prepare me well so I am confident I will pass

I just had my virtual interview on June 1st for the ABSN program for Miami… How long after your interview did you hear back?

Hi Kelley,

I heard back between 3 to 4 days. I had Kaplan test before in person interview.

What was your virtual interview like? I’m doing mine soon. I just hope there’s seats still available because I applied in April and it’s taken them a while to actually send my app to the nursing school to be considered.

It was not as bad as I expected! They just asked simple questions like why I wanted to do nursing, what the role of a nurse is to me, and what to do if I was struggling in a class. 

I submitted my application on April 4th and I just was accepted yesterday. It does take a while for them to get back to you. It was a long process. Stay patient! I'm sure you will be fine!

Hi everyone! Has anyone been able to find any essay prompts we might get? I have been looking everywhere and was only able to find one. It's from 2015,  "Give an example in which you used your creativity to solve a problem."

Hi Abbie,

I honestly cannot remember the topic of the essay.They will give you 30 minutes to finish the essay.  I wrote about situations encountered  at work.

If anyone selected for interview at Miami campus, you will have the tour of the campus, Kaplan test, essay ( 30 mins) and interview.

Has anyone gotten the packet they send out for admissions? I got a verbal acceptance on Friday but no email yet.

When I got accepted (back in 2019) the acceptance packet was mailed in. I believe it arrived a week after the call
