Nova Southeastern University BSN program Fall 2022

Published

Hello!

I am starting this forum because I have not seen anyone create a NSU Fall 2022 Traditional BSN program. I would like to get in contact with other people that are applying or are in the process of. We could help each other and give advise.

yes, I did complete both application one in their Website and another one through NursingCas, but on top of those today they send me a they asked me to another quick application to complete and had to pay $50 to get it done. This is kind of weird to me.

Ohh then that must be the supplemental application. I completed that one as well and yes they do ask for the $50 application fee but there is an option there where you can waive the fee if you’re eligible.

sorry, one more follow on question, did you complete the supplemental before interview or after?

Thanks for all your help and good luck.

No need to apologize. I’m happy to help! I completed it before the interview. After you’re done with all of those applications they call you for the interview. Best of luck!

Hey guys,

Congratulations to all of you! In regards to tuition, does FAFSA help cover tuition costs or how would that work? Do we have the option to take out a federal student loan for the entire cost of the program? Someone please inform me. I also got accepted to FIU and I want to make an educated decision.

The program for the entry level BSN costs $10,000 per semester. FASFA will definitely not cover the tuition and you will need loans. I graduated from Nova and believe it's an amazing program which prepared me to be a high performer, however I must give you the financial advise of choosing FIU, especially because you are already accepted. I believe that you should always reduce the amount of student loans you take. Many people say the high price of nursing school is worth it but in reality you will feel that debt eating away at your paycheck for years. FIU is tough to get into, you should look into the Baptist scholarship at Nova: full scholarship + guaranteed job. With your qualities you should be able to get accepted. Only that will beat FIU in my opinion.

Thank you so much for your response. I really do appreciate it. All in all, I do believe that the smartest decision would be to put financials first. I've heard great comments about both universities and at the end of the day I know that nursing school will be tough! I don't want to drown in loans so early since I am planning to go further in my nursing education. Thanks for the advise! ? Also, congratulations to you on becoming an RN!!
