Nova Southeastern University BSN Fall 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi all! It may be quite early for a Fall 2019 forum, but it's better to be prepared. I'm in the process of completing my pre-reqs at MDC and am projected to finish Spring 2019. So with that being said, my plan is to apply to NSU for the Fall 2019 nursing program. Anyone out there beginning their journey with admissions, etc. ?

@Nursing70 Do you know of anyone with a GPA that’s shy away from 3.0 that was still accepted to the program, but also did great on test and interview?

I created the chat for Miami cohort but only received one request.

I have an interview on May 7th and I'm wondering if anyone can give me advice on the kaplan test and interview questions that were asked.

Hi I just had my interview yesterday for Davie. The Kaplan is a bunch of bull lmfaooo the easier thing was the math they did fractions and percentages. The Science you just need to know the physiology. As for the interview they asked you scenario questions like “what would you do in this situation” also they ask why you want to be a nurse simple stuff. SMILE and be cursory with your answers they don’t want speeches.

For the interview, the Kaplan is pretty straightforward and fine. Just make sure you study some reading comprehension and make sure to look over your systems for physiology. The writing is the section that got me, SAT writing practice helped a lot. Other than that, sound confident in your answers in the interview and you'll be fine!!
