Hello, I saw that there wasn't a thread created for the fall term 2018 in nova. I wanted to know if anybody is already studying for the test, and if so, what book are you using to study?
SO jealous, Vane123 and I both interviewed on the 6th at the main campus. We both are dying to know what the verdict is for us! Congratulations on your acceptance, I wish you all the best!!! :)
I'm very new to this site. But I wish I found this before my interview. It would've been nice to go through it with other people. The whole process took about 4 weeks for me. I did NursingCAS and Nova application same day (early Jan). The following week I sent in transcripts. They invited me to an interview a couple days after they received my documents. My interview was feb 6th. I finished my interview (Kaplan, Interview, Tour, Financial Aid) around 12:30 and got a call saying I'm accepted around 4:45. Just awaiting the official letter and acceptance packet.
You know honestly mostly everyone I've asked about the science has got the score of a 60. The science is only 20 questions and it's difficult to say what to study because it's broad. If you use the search button on the site and lookup Kaplan nursing entrance exam there is a whole post about it and what's on it. I will try to find it and post it for everyone.
Hi everyone! I just got the call yesterday that I have an interview. I just had a question for those who have taken the Kaplan exam already. I am in anatomy and physiology now at Nova and we have not learned the physiology part yet. Can anyone give me any tips on what to look for when studying for the science part? I am going to have to teach myself physiology and I want to make sure I am looking at the correct stuff and not looking over things that I will not need. Thanks so much!!
Hi ahern! For our interview on the 6th it was individual, no groups. It wasn't difficult, just be yourself and be professional.
Hi everyone! So I just got an interview today for the Miami campus on February 20th. I was wondering if anyone that already had an interview had tips. Also, did they change the interview from a group one to an individual one? Thanks and good luck to all!
I haven't met anyone out of state, but did meet people that were not local at the same time. Good Luck and keep us posted!
I got an email today that they are in the process of reviewing my application, and they will have me set up for an interview. But I am just wondering if anyone is applying out of state. I'm from California

Yes I think applying through NursingCas is not necessary. I applied through the school website, and that worked perfectly
