Hey guys! So I'm starting this new article for the students applying for the Fall term 2016, just wanted to get to know some of you and see how everyone is feeling about the application process. My interview is on Tuesday and I'm pretty nervous, wondering who else has the same date.

Hi there! Did you register for the interview already?

Hello everyone. I applied to the program a few weeks ago, and I had my interview last Tuesday, and now I am waiting for my decision, it's kind of nerve wrecking. How long did it take for you all to hear back or get something in the mail? Any other advice? Thank you.

They took exactly two weeks to let me know. I got a phone call.

Was everyone's interview multiple people? I know someone from a previous semester that interviewed alone.

How it was set up for us for the interview we wrote the essay, took the kaplan, went to lunch, did a tour, and then we had an individual interview. There was 6 of us so we all had to wait one at a time for each person to be interviewed because there was only two interviews, I was the last in my group to get interviewed. ndelc7, what did they say to you on the phone?

Diana called me (she's part of admissions for the Kendall campus) and she told me she wanted to congratulate me because they accepted me into the program for fall and to expect my welcome package in the mail if I haven't gotten it already. Did you interview at Kendall campus?

That's great congratulations! And no, I actually interviewed at the main campus in Fort Lauderdale/Davie.

Thank you! Good luck!!!!

How was the Kaplan and the interview? What kind of questions were you asked? I have mine coming up and I'm really nervous :/

Hi Kathleen! The Kaplan wasn't too bad tbh, I did not study or buy a review book to study for it at all. The science was the trickiest, but not too hard. Math mostly fractions and decimals, reading and writing just like any other standardized test. The interview was not bad at all, honestly I felt so comfortable, my interviewers were nice, warm and welcoming. They ask you behavioral questions and what nursing means to you and such, so I think that as long as you do decent on the kaplan, write a great essay, and be yourself in the interview you will be fine.
