Nursing Students School Programs

Hey guys! So I'm starting this new article for the students applying for the Fall term 2016, just wanted to get to know some of you and see how everyone is feeling about the application process. My interview is on Tuesday and I'm pretty nervous, wondering who else has the same date.

Hey! That's so awesome! I'm so excited I found this. As far as the scrub thing, ill most likely be buying them there. Stuff like that makes me nervous about buying elsewhere since they are strict on what type they want. Besides, going to the scrub shack can't be that much cheaper. Are you guys from that area, or will you be coming from somewhere else?

Hello. Did anyone get accepted into the Davie campus? I got accepted recently and Im very excited to be starting in the fall. Cant wait to meet you all and goodluck to those who will be applying for Winter term. Does anyone know what the dress code will be like? Scrubs everyday or professional attire on some of the days?

I heard you can either wear scrubs everyday or if you don't want to wear scrubs you can wear a teal polo with khaki pants under the white coat.

Yeah I am thinking I will buy some there and then maybe get a couple more from somewhere else when I know the rules a little better. I really love the Cherokee Infinity scrubs so I would like to have some of those. I am from here, how about you?

Yeah, as of now, I'll probably just try buying from them. If need be ill go out and buy something else. I worry about the comfort! I hate stiff scrubs. I will spend the extra money to be comfortable, you know? I will be moving down there from a small town outside of Pittsburgh! I'm super excited :D

I know! I am the same way about the scrubs! Maybe I will try to buy some and bring them to orientation to see if they are ok and if they can embroider them. That is exciting! I hope you love Southwest Florida! I am from RI originally and couldn't be happier that I moved!

Oh, nice! You're also a northerner haha so awesome! Im very excited to move down there! I'm expecting to love it! Are you already a nurse?

I am not a nurse yet. My background is more in research so it will be a change for me but I am really looking forward to it! How about you?

Not a nurse, either. my background is chiropractic/rehabilitation services. This will parallel my current experience, but add so much more that I'm not even aware of. I am equally excited! If you'd like, email me so we can keep in touch for orientation

talk soon!

Did anyone apply for the baptist scholarship? If so, did you already do the panel interview? Any tips?

Be yourself, elaborate on your answers. When I did it there were 6 people and they asked me a total of 11 questions. My interview lasted about 20-25 minutes.

Hey everyone, so I handn't heard anything for a while and called and nova told me they had sent me an email to interview WAY back and i hadn't received it. (Thank god I called) any advice is welcome for the interview and the kaplan. Does everyone who applies get an interview? Just curious. Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted!!! How exciting!
