Nova Southeastern University BSN Entry Level Fall 2016

Hey guys! So I'm starting this new article for the students applying for the Fall term 2016, just wanted to get to know some of you and see how everyone is feeling about the application process. My interview is on Tuesday and I'm pretty nervous, wondering who else has the same date.

I think I applied in December after I finished the remaining pre reqs and they had called me in late February saying I had never registered for my interview but I told the woman who called me that I never received the email telling me they wanted me to go for an interview. So she scheduled me for my interview March 8th.I first made sure that I had all the pre requisites met (classes and GPA), then I applied through nursingCAS and sent my transcripts to nursingCAS as well. I also did the application that you have to do for Nova (the undergraduate application). Then all I did was wait.

You can't really have a spot guaranteed until you go through the interview process and they accept you and you pay the deposit to save your seat.

Yeah that's true, from what I heard applying earlier the better your chances. So you applied in Dec for the May start?

If you get selected I would say you would have a way better chance of getting into the campus you applied for. Unfortunately they don't start classes in the summer (I wish they did!) so I applied in late December after the fall term grades were up for this fall term coming up now. When I went to my interview in early March for the Miami campus they were already telling us that the Miami campus was going to get full within the next month if anybody wanted to switch their campus to fort Myers. I got into the Miami campus (which only take about 80 students per semester because of how small the campus is).

Hello everyone, I'm an NSU alumni. From freshman to senior year, so I did my pre-reqs on main campus and went to nursing school in the fort myers campus. I have been following this thread for quite some time now. Now that I have been officially accepted and received my welcome package, I wanted to introduce myself! My name is Erika, I finished my pre-reqs at the University of Central Florida and will be attending the main campus starting fall 2016. I am incredibly excited to start my educational nursing career! I hope to meet some of you!

Dos anyone know if there is a main campus/fall 2016 Facebook page?

Congrats! Hopefully I will be seeing you there at main campus, my interview is tomorrow and I'm so nervous! How was the interview process for you and how long did they take to get back to you?!

Usually within 2 weeks, I had mine 2 weeks ago and I'm afraid to call.

Don't be afraid to call. You can call the general number and speak to the nursing department or the person in charge for the specific campus.

Thanks... Well I called and they placed me on hold, then told me that Judy was going to call me back, but I'm still waiting...2 hrs Later I called again and was told they will notify me via mail or email. Tomorrow will be exactly 2 weeks since I had my interview. I'm starting to lose faith.
