Nova Southeastern University BSN Entry Level Fall 2016

Published

Hey guys! So I'm starting this new article for the students applying for the Fall term 2016, just wanted to get to know some of you and see how everyone is feeling about the application process. My interview is on Tuesday and I'm pretty nervous, wondering who else has the same date.

Hang in there. We got this. Good luck.

Yes thank you. Let's be positive!

Good luck guys! Think positive thoughts. You'll get in!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to announce that I got accepted!! I found out yesterday when I called and they told me the good news. I will be attending the main campus.

Congratulations! So glad everyone is getting accepted!

Congrats :) I had my interview on 4/26 at the Miami Campus. I'm still waiting for a response. I called Diana on Friday, but never picked up. Do you mind telling me who did you call ?

Congrats cnatasha20!!! For all those waiting hang in there. You don't want to call too soon and overwhelm Dianna. I would say give it at least 10 days minimum. Good luck and look forward to seeing you all August 16 Miami Campus.

Thanks you guys! :) and @nursevenus I spoke to someone on the main campus name Judy, that's the campus I will be attending.

Thanks @cnatasha :) Congrats. I'm going to give her a call on Monday.

Hi guys!

I've been following this thread and want to say congrats to everyone who's been accepted and good luck to those who are in the process!

Next week I will start my prereqs and hopefully be done by dec.

For those who have been accepted, do you mind sharing your gpas, if you had another degree prior and if that gpa mattered at all, how the Kaplan test was and if you studied for it, when you applied how long did it take for a phone call to interview take?

Sorry to bombard you guys with questions, just super nervous and don't know what to expect! :S

Thank you in advance :)

My gpa was 3.15 because I did not do well in a couple of classes when I first started college. The Kaplan really wasn't that bad. The math portion was easy most if not all of the problems could be done with the calculator that they provide. The science section to me was the hardest. I didn't really study for it because they also don't really give you a chance (at least for me) when they called me letting me know they wanted to interview me they gave me a date 1 week from the time they called me so I didn't really have time to prepare. But it wasn't that bad the Kaplan is kind of like an SAT it had math, science, grammar, and I think reading comprehension (I don't remember exactly). And the people were very nice, very personable, they made you feel comfortable. You also write a short essay which they give you 30 minutes for. The guy who was with us all day made us feel very comfortable and joked around with us to make us feel less nervous. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for the feedback! When did you start the process of applying to guarantee a spot?
