Hi everyone!
So I guess im the first to start the thread for Nova's Fall 2014 admissions. I put in my application about 2 weeks ago, and actually did my prereqs here as well. I am still in the process of completing Micro and A&P 2. I am VERY nervous about the admission process because my GPA is not as high as what im seeing on this site.
Thoughts?
@saramamelia- Apply ASAP. Don't worry about your credentials. You'll get an interview as long as you have the prequsistes and your application is complete. The sooner you apply, the better because as soon as they fill up their spots, that's it. I'm not sure when the application deadline is though. NOVA looks at the whole picture plus the interview. For Nova, the Kaplan is a bit tough in the Science portion but the test is not a pass or fail or necessary score. You simply take it so they can see where you are. Also, there a 5 minute essay portion at the end of the interview. No big deal. Give it your best shot. I definitely encourage you to apply if there is still time. At least give yourself a chance.
Can anyone tell me if their status says full admission? My final transcripts was submitted but my vip page still says acceptance.
My VIP page says acceptance still also. I called the school today and they told me that it takes a couple of days to get things updated. In your school email they most likely sent you something saying that they received your transcript. I'm sure in the next couple of days things will get updated.
Same here.... Not too much though.. Gonna have to pick up on it. I heard the Adv A/P class was tough... It's either you know it or don't.. However if you study it shouldn't matter what anyone says.. Especially if you apply yourself. I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthns me.. TRUST ME... I worked hard for those grades... I've come too far to quit...

I agree!!! I think if we just apply ourselves and do our best we will come out on top. I have been making notes for each system and I am going to keep it in a binder just incase I have to refer back to it. I'm really excited about starting the program.

If it was the TEAS V then the Kaplan Nova has you take at the time of your interview should be easy for you. 3.3 isn't bad, I talked to some people there that got in with 3.2's. It's more of a collective, volunteer hours, EC's, recommendation letters, and of course the interview. You should get an interview, but you need to apply asap. Two-years is a LONG time, so I would DEFINITELY try. Good luck to you!
