Nova Southeastern University BSN Entry Level Fall 2014

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi everyone!

So I guess im the first to start the thread for Nova's Fall 2014 admissions. I put in my application about 2 weeks ago, and actually did my prereqs here as well. I am still in the process of completing Micro and A&P 2. I am VERY nervous about the admission process because my GPA is not as high as what im seeing on this site.

Thoughts?

Thats great! I have my interview that day.

Awesome Victoria23 we need to meet up at orientation! !

Out of curiosity. waht is the order of events for the day? Interview then test or vice versa?

Its different for every group... I had essay, tour, interview, lunch break, then test (all groups take test at 1ish)

I did interview, essay, tour, lunch, then test.

For sure!! If you have a Facebook you can add me on there and we can keep in touch. Jo Nneka Victoria Edouard.

Sorry I haven't gone on here for awhile. First of all, congrats to all that have gotten in!!!

As far as the day goes, for me it was test, lunch, interview, essay, tour. It varies but all portions are the same. The amount of test questions is standard. I'm sure if you look at a Kaplan review book, it will say it in there somewhere. Don't stress it too much. Nova cares a lot more about the interview portion

As far as reaching an advisor, I highly recommend going in person. Andrea deals with everything Nursing related and there is only one of her. There are one or two other people that can assist you but other than that, that's it. Everyone I've met at Nova is competent and willing to help out. I know it can be a bit of a drive for some but it's worth it, plus Nova has a beautiful campus.

I got accepted to the Miami campus.

They have finally gotten Andrea some help and she is training another person although I cannot remember his name. As you said they are super helpful considering all the work they have to do. Not really stressing the test as I will be taking it before I take A&P so that will be a unique experience.

Also, if anyone is like me or just wants some good notes on A&P go here:

Human Physiology | Chapter Summary

Appears to ahve a decent amount of info and I have added parts of it to the study guide I made for myself. Good luck to all.

Have anyone received their acceptance package yet?

Hi! I tested/interviewed at the Miami campus on Tuesday and I got a phone call and email today to inform me about my acceptance! I'm super excited! If any of you got accepted to that campus message me on Facebook ;) Jos Pena. Congratulations to all who have been accepted!
