Nova Southeastern University BSN Entry Level Fall 2014

Hi everyone!

So I guess im the first to start the thread for Nova's Fall 2014 admissions. I put in my application about 2 weeks ago, and actually did my prereqs here as well. I am still in the process of completing Micro and A&P 2. I am VERY nervous about the admission process because my GPA is not as high as what im seeing on this site.

Thoughts?

Hi! Kami23 congratulations on your interview!! If you don't mind me asking, How long did it take to hear something back from the school after submitting your application?

Thank you Victoria23! I cant remember when I sent my application, but i know the second week of April is when Mallory Scott called me. I would def. call and ask about your status bc its not going to hurt!!! Hope you hear from them soon! Let me know

Yayy!! I got my email today saying that I've been selected for the interview and to sit for the Kaplan exam!! I'm so excited!! @kami23

I got an interview invitation as well!!!! I think I am going to choose the April 7th option so that I have some time to prepare for the Kaplan exam. I have no idea what to expect with that... I just ordered the book to be express shipped by amazon.

Congratulations!!! I picked my interview for April the 7th. I went to Barnes and noble and found a book. I was looking through it and the questions are not that bad. I still have my A&P book so I am going to brush up on that as well. What campus did you apply to?

I applied to the main campus! I am really having a hard time deciding between march 31st interview and the april 7th interview. also, they are so vague on the website about what they expect for this kaplan test.... what is the minimum score we are to have? I am pretty scared because I dont know what to expect.

I got a 63 and I got in ;) good luck study the science part from the kaplan book and refresh on anatomy 2 all the questions are physiology

Hello!

I had my interview today. Not too sure about it. On the test I got a 74 overall and a 65% on the science. Honestly, I don't believe there is a way to study for the science regardless of the Kaplan book or not.

There is no minimum score the Kaplan. They will tell you "This is not a pass or fail" Do your best. It's math, science, reading, writing. Science being purely physiology and for Math you get to use a calculator on the computer.
