Nursing Students School Programs

Hi everyone!

So I guess im the first to start the thread for Nova's Fall 2014 admissions. I put in my application about 2 weeks ago, and actually did my prereqs here as well. I am still in the process of completing Micro and A&P 2. I am VERY nervous about the admission process because my GPA is not as high as what im seeing on this site.

Thoughts?

I went for my interview March 17 and received the acceptance response March 21st... It takes atleast 6 to 7 days as stated previously.. Don't stress..

Hi! I have my interview/test coming up soon. Do u mind sharing how you did on the test and if studying the kaplan book was helpful enough to get a good score on the test? Thank you @s4breezy

I got a 74 on the test and got accepted. Studying the Kaplan book does help for the other sections, but for the Science part, just do your best. It was helpful enough to get a good score. Best of luck!

I got in! Yayaya:)

Yay! Congratulations!

I did horrible on the science.... 66.... Can't remember my overall because I was focused on the science. I only glanced at the Kaplan book. Reading, Math and Writing was basic. I would suggest to focus on the areas you are not strong with.

Yes, Fall 2014.

Just got my email invite for an interview. April 21st. Extremely surprised as I still have to take Micro and Nova's 5 credit A&P this summer. Did not expect to even get an interview. Hooray! For those of you who are trying to get a hold of one of the program advisors, my best advice is to go in person. I tried to get a hold of someone via email and phone for a month before I went in this past Wednesday and talked with someone. I was just curious about deferment (as I still have summer classes) but the next day my VIP page was updated with my application and now the email today. Let's see how I can do on the Kaplan without a physiology class.

There is no minimum score the Kaplan. They will tell you "This is not a pass or fail" Do your best. It's math, science, reading, writing. Science being purely physiology and for Math you get to use a calculator on the computer.

My question, if you remember, is how many questions are on the test (roughly)? The time limit is 2 1/2 hours; is that broken down by section or total and you work each section at your own pace?

I got in! Yayaya:)

Congratulations Kami 23!!! I got accepted also!!!!! What campus are you going to?

For the people who got accepted, have any of you guys received y'all welcome package yet? I was accepted on 3/20, but still haven't received my package yet.
