Nova Southeastern University ABSN program 2023

Hey Everyone, 

I didn't see a thread for Nova Southeastern University ABSN 2023 so I wanted to start one. I did both of my applications, ( NursingCas and the school's application) on the same day and I think it took me a little bit over three weeks to hear from them. I have an interview date scheduled for the 13th of next month at the Miami Campus. I am excited and a little bit nervous at the same time. Please feel free to reply or add something. Hi everyone! I just received an interview invite for the fall program. Any tips on the questions they ask?

 

also? I know the accelerated nursing is 4 semesters, but how long does that take? 12 months?

Hey Debbie!

The questions are really easy. They'll ask about what would you do if…… or How are you preparing for Nursing School...

IDK if the questions will be different for the Fall, but even if they are; don't stress, they'll be easy . 
The entire program is 16 months .

Hey guys! I am currently applying and am wondering if anyone has a better idea of how much tuition is for the ABSN? The website it a little misleading because it says 18,640 for 3 semesters, but I know the program is 4 semesters. Has anyone who's been accepted been sent a tuition breakdown and have an estimate of how much the whole ABSN program is (with all the additional fees). Just trying to get a better idea. Also, does anyone know about if we get short breaks for Winter , Spring, or Summer? I don't see any schedule breakdown online. Thank you!

Hi has anyone seen that the program has been increased to 19-20 months/5 semesters. I'm curious now what is the difference between the regular BSN to the ABSN since they are both 5 semesters now.

The only difference is you need a prior bachelor degree to meet the requirements for an ABSN and the BSN you go in with an associates.

Hello! I applied to the ABSN program at Nova - Fort Myers Campus for the Fall semester, and I'm still waiting to hear back from them for an interview invite. How long does it roughly take, form the time you apply, until they call you?

Also, I'm considering Rasmussen University as my backup option. What do you guys think about that school. I've read good and bad things about it, so I'm not sure what to think.

hello ! is there anyone that is currently in the ABSN program right now ? ik I asked already but how is it ? how many days a week do u go to the campus ? and are the teachers helpful and actually teach ? thank you in advance !

Hi! I am currently in the ABSN program right now at Fort Myers. This semester we are at campus twice a week and have clinicals twice a week. Every semester is different tho.  Of course there is always some bad professors, but for the most part a majority of the professors I have had so far are helpful and actually teach.

Hi! Anyone have any insight to what the program schedule is like? I'm sure it's different for each semester but I have a wedding out of state on august 26th (a Saturday) and don't know whether I can book my flight for late that Friday or if we will be in class?? Any insight or info is helpful, thanks!
