Hey Everyone,
I didn't see a thread for Nova Southeastern University ABSN 2023 so I wanted to start one. I did both of my applications, ( NursingCas and the school's application) on the same day and I think it took me a little bit over three weeks to hear from them. I have an interview date scheduled for the 13th of next month at the Miami Campus. I am excited and a little bit nervous at the same time. Please feel free to reply or add something. Thanks :) GO SHARKS !!

It was a Solo interview with 2 people. Just relax , be yourself and don't forget to ask questions .
Lmk how it went!
Hi Faith I have a question. I recently had my interview and received an email that I may proceed to the next step, registering for the TEAS exam. Is this a good sign? I took the TEAS last week but I'm not sure what score I was supposed to get I received a 77% on my TEAS exam

for me personally, along with many others in my class, we really enjoy the structure of NSU and our semester so far. For some other students that may not be the case but it truly is an amazing campus with very student oriented professors that want to see you succeed. I want to add that an ASN is only a portion of what you need to maintain a nursing license in the future, you're better off going to NSU to obtain your BSN than getting an associates in nursing at broward. It is 100% worth it coming to this university! Hope this helps ?

Hello,
I completely understand! I am not in the ABSN program, I am in the traditional but we both share the same orientation. It was said during orientation that the ABSN program is 4 semesters so you will have about 3-4 classes each semester starting with Foundation courses and clinicals such as Med Surg. The following semester will be the same with health assessment courses and clincicals in OB and Maternity. That is from my understanding and it continues that way with other specialties until your graduation. I could be wrong! I've also heard in school the schedule is about 3 days in the week of lecture and on Fridays or Saturday's there is Clinicals. They should tell you soon or during orientation, I'm sorry if this info is slightly inaccurate but hope it helps!
