if you don't mind me asking whats your GPA? im so nervous i haven't applied yet but because im still missing classes which i hope to take during the summer and apply once I've registered but im super nervous!

My gpa is pretty low. I played around alot the first cpl years of college. Now I'm paying for it. :crying2: My overall gpa is on 3.3, science is low at 2.8. I'm slated to take A&PI with lab again this summer. Anyhoo....

I hope I can still get in...I don't know. Seems as though most were getting in with way higher gpas.

I'm currently in an LPN program now....just to kill some time if I don't get into an RN program. I don't want to be an lpn...my goal is to be an RN, but because of my gpa, I'm afraid I may have to do a bridge program instead.

I applied at a cpl of cc also......I applied to a total of 7 colleges(3 here in Georgia, 3 in florida and Oklahoma also)

But I guess, I will just wait and see

What is your gpa? Did you apply anywhere else?

well i haven't applied anywhere @ all but nova is my first choice even though its expensive :/ but since its private its easier to get in than a community college. i would much rather go to FIU tho because its so close and so much cheaper but u need an AA and take the HESI. well anyways i have a 3.4 overall it might go up after this semester and the summer term but im still nervous :/ i messed up during my first few semesters of college too so im kinda nervous. By any chance do you know if nova looks at your overall gap, ur science gpa or ur pre reqs gpa? im super nervous about it :/ but if i don't get into the schools i would want to i would probably do the bridge which i don't want to do at all :/

I "think" Nova is one of the few universities that looks at the student as a whole.......(don't hold me to that)

I read that somewhere. I have read on here of people getting in with a 2.8, but they had to be strong in a particular area...to get in, so I'm not sure.

Nova is my first choice too. It seems like their program is really good. I'm wiling to pay that extra $$ to be in their program.

What have you heard?

Ive actually heard such good things about Nova thats why its my first choice. I have a few friends that are in the program they all love it. They say the first two semesters are the hardest. especially that advanced anatomy class. but they say its really do-able its just all about time management. I really hope to get in tho :) Do you have your A.A. or you just have their pre-reqs thats another thing im worried about I just have the pre-reqs does it look better if you have your A.A.? Im really hoping to get in for the fall but ill have to take 3 classes in the summer which im nervous about since ill be missing those im afraid they might defer my application for the winter term

I'm taking my last class now..and will have my A.A. degree. I don't necessarily know if that gives us a better chance if we have an AA.

I probaly wont get into Nova since alot of people were deferred to fall 2011 .... i really would love to get in for the fall. My vip login just have checks in all the boxes, thats what everyone has right??
