I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?

By the way, does anyone know when school starts for the Fall 2012 at Kendall? I think i heard August 20th but wanted to know if anyone else got that date as well.
Thanks. Yea I heard August 20th as well for main campus. We can make a Facebook page for our class a a whole not matter what campus an as everyone continues to get accepted they can join :)
When I received my acceptance letter last semester, I fell the same way. But one month after I started in the program, my regrets was starting to grow. Good Luck to everyone who does not want to listen!!!
Sweetpriscy17,Hi. I haven't heard anything yet about the day we are going to start. I do have a feeling that they will tell us at our orientation. Have you bought any books yet? I saw the list on the website but noticed it said 2010 so Im not sure if I should purchase something that they might change this year. By the way I have to let you know that I am super excited to start on this journey with people like you who stands for what they believe in and who are so positive. :)

Yes we are in this long journey of 2 years back to back together lol!!! By the way are you taking out any loans or is anyone seeking that as an option besides the baptist scholars program. I know only 30 people get the scholarship... Also, is anyone here working...how are you going about that? Where did you find the books on the webisite. Im still a little lost on what to do besides paying the $500.00.
I have the loans as a back up. When you actually get your Sharklink account and click on your financial aid status it will show you how much they offer in federal grants and in loans. For the list of books when you click on the orientation link I think from your VIP page it will take you directly to the website. The book list is on the right hand side. Let me know if there's anything else I can help with. :)
