To IwillbanRN: The book is called Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment: Practice Exercises for Medical-Surgical Nursing by Mosby, ISBN: 0323044077. A lot of members here recommend this book to practice Priority and delegation questions. I found the questions are harder than the ones in Saunders. But so far, I like it.
:typing:heartbeat:nurse: There have been situations in our life that we thought we would never get through. And yet, we did.
There have been challenges we faced that we thought we would never overcome. And yet, we did.
There have been losses we've suffered that we thought we would never be able to get beyond. And yet, we did.
For we are here today, stronger, wiser, more experienced and more knowledgeable as a result of it all. Though the road has had its rough spots, we've successfully made our way along it.
There will certainly be more rough spots ahead, and there may even be some particularly difficult ones right now. So it pays, every now and then, to look back and remember that even though we thought we wouldn't get through, we did.
And perhaps, if we think about it, we'll see that there's really never any reason to doubt ourselves. For when life challenged us to make our way through, we did.
And now, even more importantly, we will. :heartbeat:nurse:
Just curious how long it will be since graduation when you take NCLEX... My school made a big deal about how if you wait more than 90 days after graduation your chances of passing go down. I'll be about a month outside that window when I test and I'm starting to freak out about it!! =)
Also, how are you keeping up your motivation to study? I was doing about 150 questions a day, but for about the last two weeks I haven't been able to find the motivation to do more than 50 -- sometimes nothing at all. I know I have to get back on track because the 17th of November will be here before I know it!
