thank you to my november family (rebmem, chocolate123, narine, ergito2, sunshine500, matchbox2019, mcdreamy001, futurern_mandi, barbara7809, diahni, born2brn, iwillbrn, pednurse4ever, excelsiornurse, nyunrse2b, ononotagain, neko11111, summerbummer21, starmatrix17, kaicam, moetiny, klyanna, msucal and chereyee) and everyone who encouraged me not to lose hope. it wouldn't be easy to take without your inspiring and kind words to me.

most especially, to god who is my guide and strength throughout the exam. he gave me the patience i needed during the waiting days.

i give you all the glory lord!!!

thank you... and for those who are still waiting - don't lose hope.... for those who will take it soon - believe in god and yourself that you can do it too!!!

i am now je_da_rn!!! weeeeeeeeeee.... :lol2::lol2:;)

:nurse::yeah::yeah::yeah::heartbeat successfully solving one problem puts you in great position to tackle the next problem that comes your way. meeting a difficult challenge gives you the courage to take on even greater challenges.

success in one area of your life can be built upon to positively affect all areas of your life. that's why even the little, seemingly insignificant successes truly matter.

achievement brings to you a type of satisfaction and energy that nothing else can provide. and it is an energy that can be leveraged into further achievement, and then into even more, in a splendid upward spiral.

when the big achievements seem to elude you, it's probably because you're ignoring the countless opportunities for small achievements. not only do those small achievements add up, they multiply exponentially.

the rich become richer not because of what they have, but because of the direction in which their momentum is flowing. even the smallest achievement will get your momentum flowing in that same productive direction.

make something good happen. and there's no end to where it can take you. :heartbeat:nurse:

my november family and future test takers:

1. i prayed a lot to god... i trust in his will and believe he will direct my path.

2. i answered lots and lots of practice questions (last july- didn't practice much so i wasn't that ok with my adjustment during the test). i read all the rationales both correct and wrong. to the wrong ones i got, i wrote them on my lil notebook and studied them later.

3. i practiced answering math problems and tried to get comfortable with every detail the question was asking.

4. i chose to study each disease process with meds/treatment involved that way i can remember the meds easily. i noted meds with therapeutic ranges which are very important too.

5. i honestly watched the drug commercials on tv. i didn't know what propelled me to do it and thanked goodness i did... one med came out!!! :)

6. i focused too on infection control and select all that apply type of questions. that was my weakest point on my july exam. i didnt know how to prepare for it, but i tried my best to answer it with my knowledge on every disease they're asking for.

7. i review important concepts: adrenal system,neuro,psych and cancer (meds/treatment). i didn't do much on cardio-pulmonary since they're my best points... :)

8. diagnostic test i reviewed them and i memorized the important lab values: abg, electrolytes and blood chemistry...

9. i prayed so much for wisdom...

10. i eliminate answers which i know would be wrong and ended up with 50-50. then i analyze each one and picked one.

11. i used ear plugs from the center (which i didn't use before) it boost my concentration... not much noise...

12. i breath slowly and i could hear my heart beating so loudly.

13. let me know if you have questions for me, i'll try my best to answer them...

you can do it guys... believe you can and god will make it happen for you>>> in his time... :) :) :)

I took NCLEX PN today. I only had 85 questions.

I have prayed alot over this last year. In my heart I feel I did pass, but my head is telling me not to get my hopes up. (This is how I feel about most things.)

My board of nursing is closed on Monday because of Vets day, so I wont know until most likely Wed.

Jeda. RN:Sorry, Je Da, I just got back from celebrating my NCLEX success, so I didn't see your post sooner. Hey, a big CONGRATULATIONS to you. See I told you, never lose hope. Like everyone else, I could feel that you would pass. So where is the celebration going to be? Good luck with your career and you will be one good RN. God bless you always. From:Rebmem, RN P.S. To all November test takers......Let's keep it rolling. You will all survive NCLEX. Let's keep the prayers coming.
