Well looks like I am booted out of nursing school until next year. I failed my algebra class ( went into final passing but completley freaked out and failed the test. Only needed a 58 to pass the class) by a few points so I decided to try and clep it. I was feeling good about my answers worked all of the problems then when I was 5 questions from the end my computer shut off. I turned out that the person administering the test accidently shut off my machine and test. So she called clep and none of my answers transmitted, so I had to re-take the test. It was 3 pm and these scores were due at 4 pm in the nursing dept, so I got really nervous and shaken up. If I had finished the original test I felt like I would have passed and would have had plenty of time to get all my scores to the nursing dept. But instead I failed by like 5 points. Now since I was in the LVN to BSN program I have to wait until next fall or find somewhere else to go. I cried all the way home. I have been looking forward to this all my life and finally felt like something was going right for me.I have worked so hard juggling school, 5 kids ,work and a husband who really could care less. It is very dissappointing starting over from scratch...

I'm so sorry.
I really think that the school should let you re take it. It is the test administrators fault for shutting off the computer! You felt rushed due to her error and you should be allowed to take it again. Have you tried letting someone know this? I wouldn't give up hope just yet.
I'm sorry you feel so sad and let down.

Any other recourse for you txpadequeen?
I would have been rattled in the situation you described. Talk to anyone & everyone at the school who can help.
I just feel so bad for you right now.

Absolutely agree. What have you got to LOSE???
Be tactful and courteous, and hope for the best. I'd certainly be presenting my case.
