Congrats to you as well ?… have you considered a surgical step-down unit since you’re interested in SICU ?

Maybe it withdrew bc you accepted another position in the northwell company. Either way congratulations!! Like someone else said its a great accomplishment
@Jessicaxo the position I offered is guaranteed I get into a CC unit after a year so I am happy. It gives me opportunity to further explore my options. I cant privately message you but if you can message me, we can talk ?
@FiddleStackssNYC oh you have a great point. The place I accepted my offer at said one unit at a time. So basically, you have to choose a position you want to interview at, if they reject you, then you can move onto other units. You cant interview at different units at the same time.

Yes I think that’s exactly what happened… I kind of regret accepting it but thank you so much ?

Has anyone heard back from Northshore university hospital?
I was wondering the same. I applied for ED, and I had an in person interview with the educators and manager. Recruiter called me a week later asking for references. Haven't heard back since then. The waiting is making me really anxious, because I really want some updates. I thought getting to this point was a good sign. But not hearing back is giving me doubts again.

The recruiter asking for references is an amazing sign!! It took a few days after all my references submitted their references to be given an offer letter. I would make sure all your references filled out the survey! If they did, I would call the recruiter and ask for an update.
Congratulation on your offer! Thanks, that makes me feel better, because the recruiter sounded like she was gonna send me an offer once the next morning if I completed the references that day. But it about 2 days for all my references to complete the survey. And since then, I just havent heard back, and I was debating if I should call/email her or not. Or if that came off as desperate, especially since this is my first choice

Did anyone get the reference check before the in person interview? Btw north shore moves so slow its actually giving me an anxiety attack, but the recruiter warned me beforehand about this.

Did you withdraw the application yourself or did Northwell? Because I would still go forth with the in person interview if it’s available to you!
