Northwell August 2023 Fellowships

Hi everyone, starting a forum to discuss updates about the hiring process for Northwell's August 2023 Fellowships. Just applied last week to NSUH and LIJ, haven't heard anything yet.

I have my interview tomorrow for ER. I had a different interview last week for another ER. If they take 3 weeks to make an offer, I doubt I'll have enough time to hear back from both and compare offers

Which hospitals are you interviewing ER for?

I have an interview tomorrow at South Shore and had one last week at Good Sam

I completed the on demand interview two weeks and still have not heard back. For anyone who completed the on demand interview how long did it take to hear back?

Just had my in-person, it was pretty lax. They explained the fellowship, asked about a patient that stuck with u, a time you had a conflict, and why you would make a fit in the ED then a case study where they gave s/s and you told what you think it is and what drugs you would give

After I submitted it I emailed the recruiter and told her it was submitted then got an email to set up an in person one the same day

it took me 3 weeks to get a response back for an in person interview

I made it to an in person interview and then received a phone call from the recruiter saying congratulations you've made it to the second round of interviews.  This is the first time I heard anything about two rounds of interviews.  Anyone have a similar experience?

How long after your interview did you get the call? Also, yes, I have heard that. One or the other can be just with a manager and the second can be a peer interview or vice versa

What fellowship is this for?

This is for the ED Fellowship.  The recruiter contacted me about 4 days after 1st interview to set up a second one
