Hi everyone,

I just wanted to start a thread for Northridge Hospital Medical Center Versant Fall 2013 Program.

The application period was Sept 6 to Sept 15 and I hear they are taking around 16 new grads.

Post here if you hear any news or have updates.

No changes here

I saw before La-rn that you had your status as "new" for awhile. Have you gotten a status change or is it still "new"?

What unit did you preference? I have only heard of people hearing back from ICU, Peds, and Tele. I hear that the units do things at their own rate

Hi @cuddlyroll, I noticed that it seems your status was possibly "manager review in progress." Have you gotten any status change or heard back?

No change in my application status either. I asked for Emergency department and if we had to choose a 2nd choice, I might have chosen med-surg.

My status changed from 'completed' to 'new' when I edited my submission on Sept 13, then it changed from 'New' to 'under manager review' on Oct 16

@TooProudToMention Mine says Manager Under Review still Sept 17. I never got asked to an assessment. :(

I'm sorry you haven't heard anything yet! Waiting to hear back is so nerve wracking.

What unit did you preference as first? I have hear and read that units do interviews at different times and that people could get job offers on some units before other units even start sending assessments and doing the interview process.

@TooProudToMention My first preference was Med/Surg and my second was Tele. How about you? I don't think I got it. =/ I wish you the best of luck, and I hope for the best!

@cuddlyroll, you may still have a chance! I don't know if I heard of anyone getting assessments or calls about Med/Surg, only ICU, Peds, and Tele so far. They may only be looking at your first preference. I preferenced ED first, and I think I heard from someone that they haven't started the ED process yet of calls and emails and such.

I've also listed med-surg as my 1st choice. My application status still says new and no assessment request.
