I am applying at NIU for fall 2014 nursing program. I am anxious to know how my overall GPA will be computed considering I have a bachelors degree from another country but my GPA is low. I took some classes here in Chicago and my pre req GPA is around 3.76 but I am worried about my overall GPA.

Can someone please help me if I am going to be given special consideration due to the fact I graduated 20 yrs ago and from another country. Again, my pre req is high but if they will include my GPA from another country it will definitely affect my GPA here which is only around 3. 17.
