For those of you getting interviews for AGAC what are your stats ?

has anyone interviewed for AGAC yet? I'm wondering how formal the interview is and whether the questions are nursing-specific or more general since applicants are coming from such a wide variety of backgrounds

Yes! I emailed the person back with the time and date and she responded to confirm.

I also had the same experience this morning!

Is anyone else in the area interviewing on campus? For whatever reason I assumed it would be a phone interview. I’m about an hour away from campus.

So I got an interview invite. In the first email she made it sound like it was a phone interview, but then she said the address. So looks like I'll be getting a plane ticket.

So nervous. Any advice for the interview?

I've had two interviews for other direct-entry programs, and the questions were pretty typical: Why do you want to be a NP? Why nursing and not another career path? Why did you apply to this program? How do you handle stress/maintain a work-life balance? Do you have any questions for me (the interviewer)? (hint- have questions!) What do you consider your strengths and weaknesses? How do you demonstrate leadership? How do you see an NPs role in healthcare?

I’m glad I’m not the only one who got that impression. It’s supposed to snow the day of my interview so if I knew it was going to be in person I probably would’ve opted for a later time.

I’m assuming they’ll at least ask the basic questions like “Why northeastern?” “Why this speciality?/Why nursing? ” etc.

i actually can do a phone interview instead of going in person. still nervous lol

i did not apply for fnp or pnp

i guess each speciality does invítes at a diff time seems like
