Thread for the incoming 2019 Northeastern Direct Entry applicants so we can help each other out through the application process.

Congrats to all who have been accepted! For those of you who have been accepted, did you hear from the DE director or your specialty’s director with your acceptance?

I applied to the direct entry FNP program at Northeastern for Fall 2019, had an interview on 2/13 and was told I would hear back by the beginning of last week. Is anyone else having this problem? I called admissions today and she said they are still going through applications but it is a good sign that I had an interview. She wasn't certain they were done interviewing candidates. She gave me no timeline of when I was going to find out. So frustrating!

Is it the direct entry RN/BSN to MSN FNP?

I interviewed on 2/11 and was told they were making decisions last week. I emailed the FNP director who I interviewed with on Friday to check the status and she has not responded.

Hi, I'm on the same boat as you. Interviewed on 2/12 and was told i'd hear back by Wednesday 2/20. I thought I had a decent interview, but still no news.

For those of you that have not heard back, I would suggest contacting your specialty director/person who interviewed you. I reached out to the woman who interviewed me and she told me I was accepted via email. She also said that I would be receiving the official letter soon, so be on the look out!

I emailed the clinical professor who interviewed me for FNP. She said all decisions have been made, but are being reviewed by the director, and decisions will be released as soon as possible. No date was given.

^^ I was accepted to Direct Entry FNP track but will be giving up my spot to go to MGH IHP. Everytime I have had to interact with Northeastern it's been an overcomplicated nightmare! It's really too bad.

Has anyone who applied to a non-interviewing track heard back? I feel like that would be NNP, PNP, WHNP, Psych, and basically anything not FNP/ AC-PC AGNP.

I applied for NNP, didn't get an interview, so I'm wondering if we're in a pool that doesn't require interviews- but what about out results?!

Has any person who has applied to the NNP track heard back at all? I got accepted at MGH for the FNP track but would love to hear from Northeastern prior to making my final decision.
