Published

I know there has been a lot of talk about this fellowship, but I would like to know 1 is it a paid fellowship and if so how much do they pay. Also has anyone recently been through it? how was it? is it difficult and how were the nurses on the floor in the MICU- Manhasset? Just any in-sight would be nice. I want to know what im getting myself into... Thanks for any responses :)

THEY ARE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!!! for the ED as well!!

I thought it went really well which is why i am kinda bummed to not hear back. The interview was Very basic, review a very standard head to toe. Is this your first or second interview? Good luck!!

Hello everyone,

I have seen the fellowships on the NSLIJ website. When applying through the job search engine, does the job post title show as ED/OR/CC "fellowship" or as "Registered nurse for OR/ED/CC"

And

Do all NSLIJ have these fellowships?

It shows as Registered Nurse Fellowship and it depends on the hospital. I know for sure LIJ, Manhasset, and LEnox do them. I've seen for South Side as well

Jasmin910 thank you very much for the prompt response!

No problem!!! Hope you find something soon. I feel like I've been looking forever lol

I just started applying. So I will be waiting for a long time. I saw on NSLIJ FAQs they do not want applicants to contact the HR. Did any of you contact HR or nurse managers on the side for this particular hospital?

No I didn't. I really don't know anyone like that to contact. Has anyone heard back from HR regarding the fellowship positions?

Specializes in ICU/Leadership/Telehealth ICU.

I think they are just finishing up looking for candidates for October. I just received confirmation that I got a position in the fellowship. Not sure how many people they are taking/took. Did anyone else find out if they are in?

Congrats!!! I guess it backs to the drawing board for me though. My friend was in the July ED Fellowship and loved it. Good luck, you'll do great!

Bluepeachez, how long did it take for a call back for a second interview?

Specializes in PSYCH.

Good luck everyone

When do they normally post the fellowships? Is it usually about a month or so in advance of the start date (so in September for October start)?
