  1. I can't speak to the exact schedule, but typically they provide you with all the information in advance at orientation. Our cohort had a Summer class which was asynchronous, and we were able to listen to our lectures on our own time. Again it depends on your track and the instructor running each course. For Summer and fall I felt they were pretty transparent with the schedule, while this Spring semester I feel like more stuff comes up in the fly. Either way it is def a challenge to juggle with work, but I do find many of the professors understand and will work with students as long as you maintain open communication.
  2. I went ahead and made a facebook group. Please only request to join the group if you were accepted. https://www.facebook.com/groups/885344592747694/?ref=share&mibextid=S66gvF
  3. It is in SOLAR. There should be a link you can click and then you enter your birthday as password. Mine didn't work, but I am a previous SBU student so my old password actually worked. Once you get into it there was an Admission Decision link in the middle on the right hand side. Try clicking that. And yes I'd be open to starting a group to keep in touch.
  4. @besnli I never got an email but I checked the portal and I was also accepted!
  5. Hey Taffy, I’m not sure how long interviews go on, but it looks like from a previous class they can go into January. Good luck to you!
  6. I’d just be prepared to answer basic interview type questions. Tell us about yourself, why PMHMP, continuing education etc. They are group interviews which is a bit overwhelming, but after the first question I think everyone’s nerves calm down a bit and you just go around the room. It’s pretty basic. It’s hard to tell exactly what they’re looking for!! And I think what’s most scary is only half of us will get in! Fingers crossed for the 3 of us!
  7. Hii, I had the 9am spot & everyone was a decent candidate. I was curious how many people they interview so thank you for sharing that information. Definitely super nerve wracking having to wait a few months. Is your experience primarily in psych? I was the only one not currently working in psych, so I hope that doesn’t set me back.
  8. I interviewed today too! Very stressful, but all good candidates. I wish we didn’t have to wait so long to find out! Best of luck to you.
  9. I also applied close to the application deadline. They were having trouble viewing my transcripts which I did have to resend them, and that's when I found out about the interview. Some of the other feeds say they interview into January. Do you know of anyone else who applied? I'd love to find out what they might be asking.
  10. Hey Taffy, I just received an interview and I'm so nervous. I heard that it can be very intimidating and that people often leave feeling underqualified. Have you heard back yet?
  11. I think they are just finishing up looking for candidates for October. I just received confirmation that I got a position in the fellowship. Not sure how many people they are taking/took. Did anyone else find out if they are in?
