Hey all! I am currently in the application process for Fall 2011 at North GA College & State. I was wondering if anyone out there can offer me come comfort on the application process and acceptance statistics? I am very impressed with the college so far and will be highly disappointed if I'm not granted acceptance, but I'm going crazy with all of the waiting games (I've applied to several schools).
I'll be attending the Dahlonega campus & my name was very high on the waitlist; Forsythe was my 1st choice & Dahlonega was my 2nd choice. A spot at the Dahlonega campus was offered b/c Forsythe is full.
I'm pulling for you, momo3. There were several 1st year nursing students in my A&P II class last semester who received acceptance letters from the waitlist in July, & one who was even accepted late in August.
It is VERY hard to be honest. The workload is extensive and it's important not to let yourself get overwhelmed. I am on the Gainesville campus and I like it because it's smaller and there aren't as many people there as the Dahlonega campus plus Dahlonega is really far away but it's all about personal preference.
Thanks for your reply! I have put the Gainesville campus as my first choice. There was a girl I had exchanged emails with over the summer, she was also starting this fall (a very sweet oriental girl) on the Gainesville campus. I wish I could get in touch with her. So how are the professors? I had heard some complaints but they were all from people who had never even been in the program, so I'm not taking it that serious. I bet it is extremely hard! hang in there, you can do it!!! It's just 2 days the first year on the GSC campus, correct?

It's been a while since I took it and I want to get a refresher (plus I LOVE anatomy). I've got a plan for after nursing school that may entail me needing the anatomies from North Georgia instead of where I took them from prior. I'm nervous about starting classes... it feels like forever since I've studied or anything!
