Just accepted a job there. Anything fun I should know?

Is going to be coooooooold!! But summer is around the corner so it should not be that bad. Also have you looked into housing or rental prices?, my impression is that the rates are high due to oilworkers influx.

It is decent. I am going to be living in a 1br. I am awaiting to hear back from HR about any possible other new grad room mates.

My unit is having a good amount of new grads.

A little bit about the hospital is that it is up to date. It is very clean and the staff seems pretty awesome.

But yes... the influx of workers vs housing is ridiculous. I think Ill be shooting for a 1br. If I am tired and grump I would rather just be alone.

That sounds amazing! Happy the rates are within reach. I will be moving to the Fargo area later this year to finish my education to become an RN. Any experiences you may share of your life on North Dakota as it goes will be a great resource for me and probably others who are planning to move there but find it hard to find info in AN.

I'll be sure to. I am a computer active person so if anyone ever shoots me a message, I will respond fairly soon.

I got a 1br right outside bismarck(mandan) for 775. 820 square feet and they pay for heating. Its recently built. I also booked a flight in at 715 dollars yesterday. I looked at the flights today and booked one that is 2 hours longer for 383. Cancelled the 715. :-)

Those are really good prices for both rent and flight. The paid heating will be a money saver during the winter months. Fantastic news on the flight for half price. Keep us posted on how you like ND once you get there... Also what are you taking with you? Clothes only? Or also some furniture?

Cookware, clothes, stethoscope, scrubs. etc

I pick my scrubs, I am wearing the same colors as my nursing school scrubs. Just felt right =D. Royal Blue.

I have about 1500 dollars of a cart pending on amazon account. free 2 day shipping and that will be there the day I land. Full of essentials I need. Cookware, glassware, bed, bedframe, etc. This is going to be legendary!!!

Oh wow that is great! I had never though of furnishing and apartment via Amazon. Thank you for that info. By the way when do you leave for ND?
