Could anyone please share their experiences with the NCTC lvn-rn bridge program? I am considering applying for fall 2014 and would like some input. :)

Where and how were you able to check that info? :)

How do you know how many applicants took the test ? I got on nln website and pulled up a spread sheet to compare a composite score with applicants that tested but it doesn't indicate how many took the test. Regardless it looks like the composite score suggested on the scale would not be accurate considering we did not take the science section . I think like mentioned above they go primarily off the percentile score . Like I mentioned earlier , if you get on the nctc website and go to LVN home and admission process they put "last chance advisement" for Gainesville and Bowie campus only until the 9th so I would assume the letters would go out next week. It makes me wonder if they did not have enough applicants that's why they had to do a last chance advisement ?

Maybe that is true but we will know soon. Best of luck for your success!

Thanks ! You too! :geek:

Hi guys! Well i just go into nln website click the register for lvn pax using a different account and see how many more seats are available, usually 38 slots are available per exam schedule so if i see that only 2 are available then 36 people registered and applied. And since January Ive been checking, the last week of the exam was full even when they open the 29th March sched (talking about corinth only). I didnt follow other campuses. Good luck to everyone!

Can you share the website access for the NLN info?

Lurve2014 - I got on and created another account . Looks like there are 12 open seats for Gainesville campus, 20 for Bowie. Also it looks like EMS students are testing for the LVN program ? Did you notice that ? So it looks like to me Corinth is still testing but just for EMS to LVN .... keep us posted if you hear anything else :nurse:

Oh yeah? So i guess that means we wont get any letters until theyre done. Ill try to call this week or next week to get an update and will let you know.

If the letters are mailed out on the 15th as was originally suggested then we should know for sure by next Friday. I am really hoping for Corinth but willing to go to GNVL camp. I would be so excited to make it in either way. By the way, does anyone know anything about Health Studies and what you can do with that degree. I guess that would be my new backup.

Guys pls check your emails.. I just got an email that I have been accepted to the LVN program this Fall and the letters were mailed out yesterday.

Congratulations! My friend got her acceptance letter today for Corinth!!!! Gainesville and Bowie are still testing so we won't know until prob next week . I wonder what the cut off scores were if y'all don't mind sharing ?

Did you apply for the Gainesville campus also or just Corinth ? If you applied at Corinth you should have your acceptance letter .:geek:
