Could anyone please share their experiences with the NCTC lvn-rn bridge program? I am considering applying for fall 2014 and would like some input. :)

Hi Everyone!

I took this exam on the 22nd of March and I do not understand how they score it?? I am waiting to see if I get in as well and the next few days are going to be so hard to wait through! What score do you need to usually get into this program do you all know? Good luck everyone!

Hi took the exam as well but that was a retake. I did better with my 1st test in January. I read from last yr that to get your total score, you have to add both math and english, the correct %. I looked up mine through nln website and got 135%. How did you do? I cant wait to find out as well. Do you know when theyre sending the letters out?

Hi and yes they are sending out letters on the15th of April. I got a 123. That's boarder line at best. Will go anywhere to get going!!! Best of luck to you all!

Hello, luvre2014! I added it up and only got 118%. I hope that that will be good enough? When do you think we will hear something?

Sorry, it's just for the LVN program. Not the bridge. My apologies!!

If 123 is borderline, then I probably didn't make it!

When I called 2 weeks ago, the lady assistant there said that you need 40% for verbal and 60% for math to pass, however, during the advisement, They said no passing grade coz it will all be dependent on the ranking system. I cant wait to find out. Good luck everyone.

Hey ! I took mine recently for Gainesville campus. I noticed they added a new advisement session for Gainesville and Bowie campus. My first thoughts were is maybe they didn't have that many applicants? It's open until the 9th of this month. Looks like if u read on the website a 40% for reading and 50% or above for math is passing however it is based on the applicants . What are y'all's thoughts ?

What exam did you take?

Maybe, however, i always check through nln website to see how many registerted to take the pax and usually 20 or more for each sched time (so 20 for am then 20 more for pm). Ive started checking back in Feb so there were plenty of applicants for like 55 spots in Corinth. Maybe for Gainsville and Bowie.

I cant wait to get the letter and find out so I'll know what to do next.

Anybody knows when the mails gonna be sent?
