CFCC Fall 2017

U.S.A. North Carolina

Published

Hey everyone,

I have applied for the ADN program at Cape Fear Community College for the Fall of 2017. I recently took my PSB-RN and I just got my scores back today after anxiously awaiting the results. I was looking to see if anyone else that has applied for CFCC this Fall would also like to share their experiences and point count totals so we can try to get through this wait together. I am overjoyed with my results and wish everyone the best of luck!

Amazing point count! Very impressive!

I'm hoping to hear something this upcoming week. I will probably call on Monday to see where the process is.

I'm just letting everyone know that I called the counseling office and they let me know that they sent the ADN letters out this morning. We should know sometime today or within the next few days! That's exciting.

Thanks for the update!

I'm in! With 372.5 points.

I had 354 points... I haven't received a letter yet but hopefully will soon! Has anyone else been accepted/waitlisted/declined? If so, how many points did you have?

That's not a bad point count at all! I would imagine you should have received your letter today. Not sure how far away from Wilmington you are. Best of luck to you.

Hi Alexander! Got my letter too. So exciting !!! Congrats to you.

Do you know if/ when we will get to request what class we want? I know at the info session I was told there will be 2 morning groups and one afternoon.

I'm not sure. I would imagine we would be told at orientation. Congrats to you as well!

I received my letter on Saturday. I got in with 366.5 points.

Hi all. I have enjoyed reading your posts because it helped give me an idea of where I was on the list. This was my first year applying and unfortunately (but also fortunately) I was listed as an alternate. I went to school the other day and found out I am the first on the alternate list. Am I imagining that in the information session she told us a lot of the alternates end up getting in? Also tell me what y'all know about class times. I know highest point counts get first choices but do y'all know what the differences in times are? Just trying to prepare myself best I can for if I get lucky enough to be called in. Thanks!

You should definitely get in if you are first on the alternate list. What was you point count?
