Do not discount offices near the Latin area of the city as they may have need of a nurse for a position on the roster even if that nurse does not speak Spanish. Employers in my area prefer Spanish speakers too, but they do hire people who don't speak Spanish. In other words, apply everywhere you might want to work. You will increase your chances of getting hired. Good luck.

Best wishes with your move.
Hospitals near the miami airport have mostly Spanish speaking patients. Not just that, but the culture is very Cuban. Many people will be Spanish only or Spanish mostly and communication will be difficult for even grocery shopping. It was a big culture shock for me, and if you know yourself not to be receptive to that, it could be very unfun living and working here. But Going more north will produce a more English-speaking population. More north then Doral and north Miami. Somewhere around Aventura the demographic will change from Cuban to Russian and Haitian. But either way, there are going to be a lot of people who do not speak English. It can get uncomfortable at first, but it was pretty easy for me to learn to communicate with most of my Spanish and Haitian patients in miami. It's not impossible but just know it's completely different than Indiana.

Hi everyone, I'm looking for an advise. I'm a Peritoneal dialysis nurse working with DaVita in Indiana at this time. Planning to move to Miami next month, and i'm concern that I don't speak Spanish. So far I heard different opinions about how difficult will be to find a job if you don't speak Spanish. I was advised to go more north Miami ( like Miramar, Doral) because is less Latin population, and I have more chances to find a job w/o speaking Spanish. Planning to learn eventually the language, but as now, I have just English. I'm looking for advises from nursing experience. Which area I should go? I need to be within 30 minutes from international airport though. Thank you in advance.
