I will more than likely continue to visit to offer advice. Anyway how many other students have finally reached the part in their journey and you're no longer pre-nursing. Congrats to everyone!!!! ??

I start on the 26th, orientation is the 12th. All that can be upoaded to Certified Background has been done, and I too am in the hurry up and wait mode. Books purchased, study room somewhat organized, scrubs ordered, and yes, absolutely a cute planner and notebooks. LOL I couldn't believe all the texts/DVDs needed for just two courses! Funds and Pharm are my first two courses, and I have already done all co reqs so only NUR courses for me, thank the Lord! (And I too like going to Pre nursing and helping calm nerves about pre reqs, since I've been there and done that!)

Lol! Yes, I remember needing advice on things from "seasoned students" and I don't mind offering any myself. I just took a peek at some of the info in the Nursing Student section and almost freaked out!!! I mean I learned on here early on to get a dosage calc book and start looking at the problems. Some of the problems they have on that page look very intimidating! Yikes!!!!!! I'm sure I will go back to the prenursing student page to offer encouragement especially those taking A&P and Micro!!! :)

I agree! Dosage calc is still scary to me, even after getting an A in Math for Allied Health. I will be pulling out my A & P book and my dosage calc book to study and refresh my memory before classes start. The math part is the scary part to me!
Congrats! :-) I'm finally on "the other side" as well. I was accepted into the BSN program at my college back in January, and I finally begin the program at the end of this month. Super excited and looking forward to finally begin what I've been working so hard to accomplish! Good luck to you and all other first semester students!
Congrats! As of this past Wednesday (July 31st), I officially became a "nursing" student too! I do not think it has sunk in. I have been sized for scrubs, tested for drugs, titers obtained. I finished up my summer patho class last night, so now I have two months to relax, as I do no start until September 30th. It does not seem real yet!
