No dosage, No multiple-multiples, and shut off at 76!!!

Published

I took NCLEX today and the computer shut off at 76 questions. Of course like everyone else I feel like I didnt pass!! (I'll find out Sunday night) I didnt get any dosage questions or multiple response questions and am thinking that the computer didnt bother asking me b/c I was dumb and it knew I'd get them wrong anyway. I didnt get any fill in the blank either or mark the diagram!! Anyone else experience this?

All I can say is...YOU DEFINITELY LUCKED OUT!!! I haven't taken the NCLEX yet. I'll be taking it this thursday coming up. I'm hoping I don't get the select all that apply questions...I'm not so great on those. What types of questions did you get?? Was it mostly priority?? I'm sure you passed. :)

I just took mine yesterday, and I didn't get any math problems, check the diagram, or fill in the blank, but I did get about 8-10 choose all that apply, they were real fun:devil:.

Anyways, I feel just like everyone else, that I failed, but oh well, I should know tomorrow, I am just to the point that I don't even care, I just want to find out the results.

:) I have never taken the "NCLEX" exam, but when I graduated in 1968, they herded us all up to Topeka, ks. to be in this huge arena, 2 at a table with very stern ladies in dark suits strolling the aisles to mek sure nobody cheated. Heck, we were so stressed just tryin' to answer the darn questions and get done, who had time to cheat!! or would want to anyway.

Their best tactic for awful questions (mind you, all paper and pencil) was a multiple choice question -- on say #43. Then, on question #44, they would have another multiple choice question. "Why did you answer #43 in the way that you did a,bc,d ect. Soooooooooooo if you goofed on 43, you may blow 44 also.. UGH those were AWFUL. We all thought we flunked, and we didn't. I think pretty much all GN's feel they did poorly. We had to wait 6-8 weeks for those hand graded exams, now you get them back more quickly.

Good Luck in your endeavors in Nursing, you'll get that RN

Morghan 1968 grad and still nursin'

My friend took the NCLEX on Wednesday and was freaking because she didn't get dosage calc questions and they told us that we would have them. Her computer shut off at 75 and she passed. She had about 4 or 5 choose all that apply, and a lot of prioritizing questions.

See everyone I've talked to said they got at least one multiple response question and I didnt get not one!! I would know b/c it wouldve said select all that apply!! There was no way I couldve missed it b/c I read and broke down each question!! I get my results tommorow!!!:uhoh3:

The stress is over!!!! I PASSED!!! :lol2: :rotfl: :roll :biere: :beercuphe :w00t: I JUST CANT BELIEVE IT'S FINALLY OVER!!!!!!
