Hi Guys,
I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?
Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!
Don't worry guys they say to wait 70 days but it takes 4-6 weeks including weekends and holidays. Hopefully u all will get it soon. I got mine recently less then 5 weeks. Make sure to chase them if u send. Documents and iit s not loaded as it gets lost/ miss place in the office easily.
You don't have to have experience in all departments.
Hi XilaMareeI also entered the assessment queue on1 May 2018. I got feedback yesterday that I need to provide some information about my last role and send my original bar coded forms to NMC, not copies. I am sure you will get your DL soon as we started in the queue on the same day, 1 May 2018. 😃
I got a feedback for more docs today!!!
Here's to hoping we both get great news soon.
Regarding the PRC Documents, I sent mine with all the other barcoded documents myself. I was told about the options, so I opted to send it out to save money and ensure they'd arrive together.
Buuuut, my handler emailed me that the NMC lost my PRC documents, so I was placed on queue later than expected.
What documents did they ask for? My assessor did not ask for any documents at all. I was just curious because these requests cause delays in issuing DLs.
I just got my decision letter 10 minutes ago.
My assessor asked for annupdate CV and an explanation as to why I onlybhad 8 years of prary and secondary school.

I submitted my documents May 15 and then had to chase them up about another one which was sent weeks beforehand and never had been ticked as recieved on the portal. After a few emails back and forth they finally found my document and it appeared on portal May 30. Bit annoying two weeks were lost because one document wasn't scanned in.
I don't have any experience in pediatrics or obstetric so i'm hoping it's not something they require me to send addition documents in for. I hope because they see i'm a theatre nurse it will be okay. Have you guys heard of anyone who has had to send these additional documents in?
Good luck to everyone in this process, it's long and stressful isn't it. I hope it's all worth it to work in the UK
