2017 NMC UK Decision Letter

Published

Hi Guys,

I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?

Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!

none yet. from philippines but based in UAE.

i really hope you can get your DL soon. i still have to wait for the start of my assessment queue.

Hello everyone! I just want to share my experience. So as I previously posted, I entered the queue July 14 and on Sep 8, I received an email from the assessment officer in charge who asked for explanation on the gaps on my employment history. I replied to his email but after that, I received no feedback. I called the NMC on Sep 15 to follow up my registration, and according to the person I spoke with, I should be getting my DL within a week. Hence I waited. Well, no DL came so I called again on Sept 22 to make another follow up but I the representative only said that assessments take 40 to 60 working days. I then decided to simply wait up until the 60th working day, and so I called again last October 10, only to be told that the validation may take up to 70 working days. *sigh*

Well, it's gonna be the 70th working day on October 23rd, and I'm gonna call the NMC again to follow up. I really wish I receive my DL soon. I understand that the person in charge of my assessment could be handling lots of paperwork, but from my end, waiting this long is nothing short of ridiculous. (sorry for sounding negative, but i'm really just getting fed up and tired of waiting. ;'( )

Hi!. did you already receive your DL? I'm still waiting for my assessment queue. One barcoded form hasn't been uploaded till now, 8th day when the courier delivered it.

I got a bit confused as to when was my application placed on queue. NMC posted my documents as of 9/21 but was advised by my agency here in PH to wait for the cue from my agency in UK to submit my application. Submitted in the portal on 10/3. Thanks.

The last document date is the start of your queuing for your dl.

Thanks for answering. Last document date? So that makes it 09/21?

Hi guys!

I have a problem with my bar coded declaration of health form. The doctor who checked me inputted a wrong date thus the 3 month validity is expired. My assessor in NMC emailed me that i need to submit again. My problem is, 1. Do I need to submit it via courier again or just scanned it and upload it to the website? 2. How long will it take for the reassessment? Thank you in advance. I badly need your help.

You can email NMC to ask. good luck!

@harloween the last document that was reflected on your portal is the start of your queuing.

@jedprowell11 barcoded forms are to be sent via courier unless when nmc contacted you they instructed that to upload it in your portal instead.

Thank you! How about the re assessment, do you have an idea how long will it take? Will I wait 30-70 more days again back from the startí ½í¸? Thank you!í ½í¹‚
