Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Hi PinoyRN12

Did you follow it up with the nmc? I suggest you should. I passed the cbt last feb 5. R

I've been calling them almost everyday and I was getting the same answers. I got fed up so right now I'm just going to wait. I bet it wouldnt take so much time now.

Yes it wouldn't. Just have more patience. Im sure your in line at decision queue already. Best of luck with your application!

I'm pretty sure it is. Haha! The last time I talked to them they said it is still on the QA stage which I presume is the last stage.

Hi Raisa,

I would like to as u something. Please send me an email on [email protected]. Thank u..

Hi intl_RN, I am a Pediatric Medsurg RN in Florida with 5 years of experience and I too am about to start the journey of obtaining a UK nursing license. I have enjoyed reading your posts on the subject and I find your information helpful and encouraging. Have you gotten your UK nursing license yet? Would you be interested in sharing contact information?

Yes. Maybe I should clarify. I am aware that as professional nurses, we must continue to demonstrate our proficiency and continuing education to renew our licenses no matter which country we live in. I meant that once the initial registration is complete, there would be less interaction with the NMC except to renew licensure, which I would hope they don't make as difficult as the initial registration. Therefore, there would be less stress involved. These must always be a maintenance of standards, and I'm aware of that. Thanks for having me clarify.
By tracking my documents it arrived in their office last March 12, but only scanned and uploaded it in May 13 then got the decision today.

Hi ms Raissa.

I just joined this forum and hoping to see if any of the applicants for UK got a decision letter through the new registration process. I am glad you got yours. Do you mind sharing the next step they ask you to do? Did NMC give you a span of time to seat in for the OSCE exam?

Hope to hear from you soon. :D

Hi PnoyRN12,

We are at the same page now..in fact I passed CBT jan 26 and submitted all documents and NMC received it by early March. However, NMC had scanning problems and they only acknowledged that all my documents were officially at their system on April 28 and will take them 70 days to make assessment. Hopefully we will get our decision letter soon. Fingers crossed!

@patzieiztapThat's great to hear that you've finally solved that problem. You should ask your school about the exact dates since you'll be going there anyway to have them fill out your transcript of training. And yes, it's 10 years for elementary and high school. As for the employer reference, you can ask some of your nurse managers or supervisors. Don't you have a nurse director, or is that your role? It doesn't have to be someone superior to you so long as they have a significant position in the institution and is a registered nurse. If nobody has sent you any guides yet, I would be willing to send you one my agency has distributed to us. My internet is still a bit wonky, though so I'll probably be able to send it later today. PM me or reply here if you're interested

@Kurokocchi Hello! I, too, am on the process of filling out the forms in the website and downloadable forms. Can you also send me a guide in the proper filling out of the forms? If it's not too much to ask, here's my e-mail address: [email protected]

Thanks a lot! Godspeed!

Hello everyone!

Regarding the filling out of forms c/o PRC, do I have to go to PRC main office in Manila or I can go to the nearest regional office, in my case PRC-Baguio where I filed my registration?

Thanks a lot to whoever who'll reply! :)

hi johnnius,

simply go and submit that form to PRC baguio. :)

Alright, thanks!

I have some concerns though regarding the document to upload as my registration certificate copy, is that the Board Certificate that looks like a diploma? And will the PRC be the one to send it to NMC directly or I can just include it with my reference docs and declaration of health? If not, how much will I pay for the PRC only? :)

Download your diploma and your board certificate.

Cost that you will spend at PRC will be 200 pesos. Upon processing that form to PRC, they will give you option how to send it back to NMC ( via Philpost EMS or other courier). You cannot actually send it by yourself. In my case, I chose DHL tracked delivery that cost me 2k and document had arrived after 5 days. If you choose other courier you will have to pay it straight to courier ex. DHL. then DHL will pick it up to PRC.
