Hello everyone!!

After more than a month of waiting, I can finally say I passed CBT - All glory and praises to God! It was my second attempt, TBH. The first one, IMHO, came as a surprise as I thought I was going to pass it only to find out that I failed the exam. Fast forward 30 days after, with more determination and review days, finally.

Having passed the NCLEX before, I would say that my 2nd attempt was patterned more on the NCLEX types of questions (minus the dreaded SATAs). Around half of the 120 items were situation-based and honestly it got me so dizzy at the end of the exam. Few calculations which were very very basic. The rest were straightforward questions.

Now on to the NMC full assessment. Hoping its going to be an easy task. With HIM, all things are possible! May God bless us all :)

Hey Princess! You will have another chance to retake the exam. If it will help you get through with failing the exam, I also failed my first attempt at CBT. I had the same "easy feeling" afterwards only to see a FAIL result with Pearson Vue. But I never gave up. It even motivated me more, I studied harder, prepared well and finally passed the exam on the second attempt. BUT, do not forget to always Pray and ask God for the provision and guidance. He will help you succeed not only with CBT but in life in general as well.

I will include you in my prayers tonight and I hope that you will have the courage to take the exam again. Keep that head up high, you are destined to be in the UK soon. May God bless you!

I finished the exam confidently. There were very easy questions but there were a few that were difficult which I think were the critical questions. I studied them, the blue print the code and the royal marsden. I don't know what happened. This is so frustrating.

Hi agatoinks...Yes, at some point, I find some of the questions..er..reeeeeeally easy.. But don't forget you are taking a "licensure exam", so next time, be careful with choosing your answers (though some are REALLY obvious --as the longest choices and the like.) I myself forgot about the PGDs and stuff like that. Hahaha Next time, just be careful, confident but not too confident. ;)

hi fellow nurses, do you have any idea if there is a Royal Marsden book here in the Philippines and how much does it costs? I prefer to review on a book for OSCE prep. Thanks in advance! :)

Who else here know their tentative deployment dates already despite not having DLs and COS'? My employer told us the target date so that we can work on our deadlines for the requirements. :)

Congrats on getting your CoS! Lucky you! Let me guess your under omanfil arent ya? They're the only agency with clients who assigns the CoS to candidates even without their DLs. For which trust are you? And when's your target date? If you dont mind me asking..

I tried searching in bookstores before but unfortunately I didn't find any. One posted in olx last time selling her old marsden book bought directly from UK but i think it was already sold out. Do you have C&E bookstore outlets near you because I found the Marsden book in their list online before however its the student editon and upon calling they said its out of stock:(

My previous agency is Jedegal, they do send applicants without DL as long as you submitted all the requirements to NMC/your application is already on queue.
