As far as I know, as long as they are senior to you and a Registered Nurse, you may use anyone

I don't know if NMC does random checking but I have been informed that Charge Nurses are acceptable. However I would suggest in putting a Senior Nurse/Head Nurse/Nurse Supervisor instead to avoid any inconvenience.

In my case, I put a Senior Nurse & a Nurse Clinical Educator to sign in as my referee as she was my preceptor when I started working and was my Clinical Educator up until I resigned. So she was more informed than my head nurse on how I function as a Staff Nurse. I don't have my DL yet, but I am hoping it would suffice. If it doesn't then I don't know what else would lol

Hello everyone!

I have a question in putting a stamp in the allotted box in the forms. Is it okay if the stamp/dry seal was placed outside of the box? Coz what happens is that it gets torn and folded if I really insist on putting a dry seal inside the box. I hope you guys are getting what I am trying to say.

That would be fine as long as there is a dry seal from the institution where it came from. NMC would not mind it at all.

Hi! Anyone know how long it takes for NMC to reply for locked accounts? I forgot my password and now I'm locked out of my account. I'm getting anxious since it's been more than a week and NMC still hasn't replied to my email. Also, I've sent my documents but i still can't check the status since i can't access my account

Keep on sending emails to them until they will reply.

I received my DL a week ago. I did not call NMC but I sent an email to them about my application.

How long did you have to wait? I sent them an email last week, I haven't heard from them since. Perhaps I need to send another email tonight.
