Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
Hi! I've been following this thread since February when I reached my target IELTS score and every posts here helped me passed the CBT as well last June. Anyway, It was last July 9 since I submitted all my NMC documents and they claimed they received it at July 28 and now I'm waiting for my DL as well. I was just wondering for those with their DLs already.. how long did it took for it to arrive? :)
Thank you!
hey michhow long did you process your assessment? Starting when all the documents were received?
Thanks
my assessment started last July 1, i have received an email from NMC stating the date. then on Aug. 13, I received another email for further information required (clarifications of my registration date as I have 2 registration, one from PRC and 1 from Saudi Council). Actually i have not made any changes on the dates that they want to clarify, that time my portal was re-opened by them so I can make the necessary changes and then just re-submit it. but i have not done any changes and I re-submitted my online application.
i even called NMC about that and they told me I have to wait again 30 to 70 days,,but to my surprise, after a week, they released my decision letter.so it took me 50 days for the assessment
hi guys,I finally had the courage to take the CBT yesterday and.............. I PASSED!!! Thanks @xhiwari and Bryan for all the help and i'm glad to share my experience with potential candidates, as the aforementioned guys helped me.
the most important thing is prayer. I PRAYED and trusted God earnestly, studied the code and royal marsden book (even purchased the newest, 9th edition). I didn't encounter any question from the royal marsden. majority of the questions were from the CODE, so i'd advise you treat everything written in it as IMPORTANT, neglect nothing! Also, i came across questions on safeguarding vulnerable adults, whistleblowing policy, mental capacity, a few disease conditions like COPD, Alzheimer, Aneurysm, PPH, pressure ulcer.
you would also like to know what duties can be delegated to a HCA, Nurses use of internet, scaffolding of new colleagues in order to build their competence and infection prevention & control, finally the use of routine antibiotics.
I'll post more as they cross my mind. At this point...i'm overwhelmed with joy!
Congratulations ari! i sent you a private message.
hi guys....has anyone in the assessment stage here being told of the 11 weeks time frame of assessment of files...i called NMC and i was informed that currently its taking up 11 weeks to get decision because of the lot of applications they currently have...i am at the verge of giving up....its been 7 weeks in the queue after i submitted additional documents which they required...and a year of trying to register...
Anybody here told the same 11 weeks waiting time...
The NMC usually tells us that assessment stage takes 40 to 70 days. if you are on your 7th week, you still haven't reach 70 days. They suggest to contact them if after 70 days you still havent received any feedback from them. Happy waiting!

Hi everyone! For those who now have their DLs, were you granted a COS already? I heard the COS applications for most hospitals this month were denied. Hoping for a better result next month...
