2019 NMC Decision Letter

UK NMC decision Letter stories, CoS stories and experiences

Updated:   Published

So, I decided to start this thread so we can discuss our U.K. NMC decision letter stories as well as CoS and Tier 2 visa application in the year 2019. Especially with all the new updates and changes with the NMC for international registration and Brexit.

I joined the queue on the 20th of February and still waiting for my DL. I know it is still early. But these days, people have been testifying to getting it in less than 15 working days. I am really anxious. Anyone submitted around the time, and still waiting for their DL as well?

I heard they ask general nursing related questions. From common topics like infection control, patient safety and about your experience related. What I heard is it's easy to clear if you give it with confidence. Don't panic just relax read some general topics from CBT material and be thorough with your experience. All the best. Keep faith in yourself and God.

Have u sent an email to them or got some feedback before they released your DL?

My queue date was August 1, got an email for more information from my assessment officer September 2. I needed clarification on some of the requested information and emailed my assessment officer September 2, yet she never replied to my email with questions, and still no answer.

I've called several times to speak with her and have never been able to. I sent the documents requested to the best of my ability. I tried to call today and was told they can't help me, I need to email my assessment officer, who is out of town until tomorrow.

So I emailed her again, hoping to hear back. Has anyone experienced issues hearing back from their assessment officer after a request for more information?

Thanks. I can understand what you are going through. Be patient that's the only advice I can give now.

No I didn't get any feed back. Directly got an email from NMC overseas department about decision letter. Hopefully you will get the same soon.

Hi guys

Anyone got cos from hospital..

How long it will take. Coz its going to be 2 week still no answer

I'm curious as to what documents the assessor requests when the visa is an ancestry visa. My QD is Sept 6th. Called today and no assessor has been assigned. I have a work visa already till 2022 via ancestry. They couldn't really answer my question and just said the assessor will ask for specific documents. What has everyone else been asked for?
