I'm curious as to what documents the assessor requests when the visa is an ancestry visa. My QD is Sept 6th. Called today and no assessor has been assigned. I have a work visa already till 2022 via ancestry. They couldn't really answer my question and just said the assessor will ask for specific documents. What has everyone else been asked for?

Im sorry that you didnt get accepted. Keep applying its worth it in the end. So, YES! I would take a libs class, I have a few friends with NO post secondary experience and they got in based on that. So If you have your English and Psychs I would defiantly take the remaining libs classes. Do you already have a 2nd year transfer elective? These elective courses should probably be taken through a different school as there is limited offered at BCIT. So if you already have your English, psychs and 2nd year transfer classes that leave three other classes you need. Libs 7001, Libs 7002 and HMGT 7180. you can look it up yourself here: http://www.bcit.ca/study/courses/ SO the thing about online courses is you have to get used to them. We have online courses throughout our program. Yes they suck but it helps develop independent learning. Also all of level 5 is online as everyones clinical is all over the place. It does look better if you successfully complete these courses online as you can say "I can handle the online portion, look". That being said, yes they are hard (some more than others, but I find that the entire program is hard). I find I spend 48-60 hours a week combined with clinical, class, homework, clinical prep and writing essays and presentations. So the hint about taking online classes is to take the right one, Libs - Ethics DO IT IF U CAN IN CLASS. Its probably one of the harder ones, but you can do it during one of your semesters if u have time. HMGT 7180 is long, but it is doable I know many ppl that took this one in level 2 and 3. I still have a little way to go but Ive got lots to say: -Thanks to those in my class who are supportive, friendly and just downright amazing! -Like others here I do have responsibilities outside of school, but to keep complaining how your parents wont fund you to go to 13 European countries and you only have room for 10 is a bit much. -Yes a lot of people have kids and yes we do complain, but how would you like it if we paraded (constantly in front of you) something you really wanted in front of you. Please be aware of who you are around and complaining about the "complainers" -Coming to class in heels only makes you look like you lack common sense especially when it makes that click click sound on your way to the front of the auditorium.... Thats it! how therapeutic.

Hi All. Im new to this forum but maybe I can help. I am currently in level 4 of the BCIT program and have gone through what most of you are going through now. The above quote is right. Credits are important, GPA is not! I entered with 54 credits and a GPA of 3.0. I got waitlisted the first time, because I didnot "beef" up my application. Have as MANY references as you can! It will help you. Also taking the extra libs courses that is mentioned in #4 is important. They view it as you will be MORE successful because you have already finished them. Also you get the summers off (if your a January start). The biggest thing I would suggest is just make your profile appeal to them. Lots of everything. It took me 3 years to get into the program, but it was well worth it. Good luck!
