2019 NMC Decision Letter

UK NMC decision Letter stories, CoS stories and experiences

Updated:   Published

So, I decided to start this thread so we can discuss our U.K. NMC decision letter stories as well as CoS and Tier 2 visa application in the year 2019. Especially with all the new updates and changes with the NMC for international registration and Brexit.

I joined the queue on the 20th of February and still waiting for my DL. I know it is still early. But these days, people have been testifying to getting it in less than 15 working days. I am really anxious. Anyone submitted around the time, and still waiting for their DL as well?

Yes please, they have not asked as well but just in case. I want to be ready when they do. Thank you so much❤️

Got it. Thank you so much! Hopefully they would not require any more additional documents?

I think if your unregistered practice was with the same employer, the NMC will not ask for explanation letter. I've read the same case in older threads, and from my experience, the NMC didn't asked for it despite having a period of unregistered practice.

Hopefully, does NMC asked for a CV as well?

I uploaded my detailed CV in my portal, so they didn't at all. In fact, I was surprised when I received my DL because I was expecting they will ask for additional documents such as explanation for my unregistered practice. But they never. Everything went pretty fast and smooth.

If you didn't include your CV in your portal, don't forget to include an explanation of your work gap if you have any. The NMC will surely ask for it.

Oh no, which part do we attach the cv? I have sent my RAV,FATT and DOGH recently.

On the “Additional Identification” section of your NMC portal, if my memory serves me right. That’s below the section where you uploaded your passport copy, birth certificate etc.

If you haven’t submitted your online requirements, you can still upload it on your portal. But if not, just have it ready. NMC is very considerate to candidates anyway.

Yes, I saw that part and I only attached my marriage cert. For the explanation of the gap do you know what that looks like? Is that like an essay type?

Hi ! ? Don’t worry, simply asking question here isn’t a big deal here in UK and I didn’t sound “questioning” at all. Remember the phrase, ask and it will be given? Yes, that’s what i did. So no worries. They are cool. LOL

Hi All! Just an update, I received an email from them 10min ago saying that they were unable to verify my english test result online so I need to make changes in the portal. It didn't take 5min for them to release my DL after I made the changes.

I knew there is something wrong when I didn't receive the feedback from them on the 30th day.

So guys, don't be afraid to ask updates and questions to NMC. Remember, ask and it will be given. ? Have a good day!

Well it is un- imaginable for me to have summited by documents 5th July, got a first feedback 10th August, re submitted 15th August and no responses till date.

I guess some assessor are just sloppy with things.

Oh WOW! Did you call them? That's why sometimes, I do assertive approach in dealing with such things, some people are slackers, they need a little push to get what you need. haha I hope you get it soon.
