2019 NMC Decision Letter

UK NMC decision Letter stories, CoS stories and experiences

Updated:   Published

So, I decided to start this thread so we can discuss our U.K. NMC decision letter stories as well as CoS and Tier 2 visa application in the year 2019. Especially with all the new updates and changes with the NMC for international registration and Brexit.

I joined the queue on the 20th of February and still waiting for my DL. I know it is still early. But these days, people have been testifying to getting it in less than 15 working days. I am really anxious. Anyone submitted around the time, and still waiting for their DL as well?

I have tick yes on this as well (Are you related to the applicant?).

You're doctor should've ticked no on that part. If your doctor ticked yes, NMC would doubt the authenticity of this document.

Do we need to give UKVI Ielts as well for Visa or COS?

I already submitted my Academic Ilets while applying DL.

You will need your UKVI results for you to be able to apply for your visa. If you are being managed by an agency during your application, they will need your UKVI result before they release the your COS.

Thank God,

Received my DL today (34th day(

Que date July 14th.

Thank you all for your valuable comments here which really helped me to get an idea about DL.

Hello!

Anyone from 22nd July decision queue?

Getting more anxious here. I hope to receive an email or update soon. ???

My queue date is July 15th. Today, I received an email requesting further information. Apparently, since I changed majors in college from Bio/Chem to Nursing, the NMC is requesting an emailed confirmation of the EXACT dates and length of time that I trained for nursing. I contacted my university, and they are saying they cannot help me with an email or even a letter confirming the time I trained. They said the info is on my transcript as well as the form to accompany the transcript.

I am so frustrated. Because I know my DL is soo close!

I'm going to the university tomorrow to see if they can help me, because my future is hinged on something as simple as an email : ( Anybody else have this issue?

Is it possible for you to call nmc and tell them what your university told you? Or you can reply to the nmc's email to explain what the university said.

I am still trying my best to get the necessary information, before I get back to the NMC. I'm sure there is SOMETHING that the university can do to assist me. Once I exhaust all avenues THEN I will call the NMC to tell them the outcome. Thank you so much for the suggestion.

It is indeed written on your transcript, as well as on the NMC barcoded form your university filled up for you. It was on that form where I get the exact date when I started my nursing education. Your university will give it to you. Just talk to them personally.

Yes! I went to the university and spoke with someone in person. She was very helpful and sent the information that was required. So I will f/u on Monday with the NMC to confirm receipt of the info! Thank you for your suggestion as well. Now I wait ?

The NMC will always tell you to wait within the 30-60 days time frame. With your timeline, your DL wont be too long. Just keep your faith and patience.

Hello,

Two days back I received an email from my assessor stating that they forwarded my file to upper-level management for final approval because I worked in Saudi as unregistered practice in the year of (11/2001 - 01/2004). Those days I worked directly under Defence hospitals and they did not require or advise to do any licensing for nurses. (I uploaded to NMC my Saudi entry/exit paper and old services certificate from my hospital and self-declaration of my unregistered practice) However, for the last 15 years, I am working as a Senior Registered Nurse with a proper license from another Middle East country. I completed my 60 days!!!!!! has anyone undergone similar issues?

If you could ask your employer in Saudi to give you a letter addressed to NMC explaining your unregistered practice, that would be better. Most probably the NMC will ask for explanation letter from your employer before they release your DL.
