NMC Decision Letter 2016

Hi! Anyone here who knows how long it takes for the NMC to release a decision letter on your application, as I am anxiously waiting for mine for a little over a month now.

Received ny DL today. Queued July 18, received feedback last sept 8, they asked for confirmation letter from employer of part time and full time date of employment. NMC received the document on sept 14, reflected on my portal the following day, and DL given today. After 63 calendar days!

Congratulations! If my math serves me right only 5 days from reassessment after reflected on the portal. Nice to know some good news today.

Hi everyine, also got my DL last night. Documents received last August 2. Thank God. My assessor just ask me to confirm that I did not performed any unregistered practice and my agency advised that an email is enough no need to send the CV. It was a smooth convo between me and my assessor. Good luck to all of us. Btw, does any of you knows the cut off for COS? Is it standardized in the entire NHS?

Hello everyone! Congratulations to those who got their DLs already. I received feedback from the NMC last July 23 and resubmitted documents last August 23. Until now I still have not received any feedback from them. I have also sent an email to the assessor but no reply received. However, my hospital has already issued my COS and I have also applied for my visa. Is there anyone here who applied for a non-priority visa? How long does it usually take? VFS mentioned that from July, they cannot give the exact time frame anymore due to the bulk of applications in the UK.

I need some help. I tried to explain my gap in the experience. Within this gap I mentioned that I worked temporarily(for 4 months) @Coimbatore, a city in India . Now NMC has asked for a character reference from the hospital in Coimbatore (as I didn't have the state registration), which the hospital has already refused to give. NMC has also asked for an affidavit of self declaration that I dont have a professional misconduct, which I got. Can anyone tell me whether the affidavit is enough, as NMC asked for both the docs and the hospital wont provide the reference? What can I do in this case?

Hi mini84, just tell them the reason that you can't produce a character reference because you are not registered at that time, then just google any self-declaration format and follow it. I am sure they would reply to you if further details will be required. As for me they ask also my work history because of my gap and a self-declaration that I have not work overseas.

Thnx fr ur reply. I too submitted my CV nearly 4 months back. I sent them a mail explaining my case. Hoping for the best..

Hello , is there a problem.if our assessment officer didnot mail us.I received a mail from nmc only for resubmission requirements.
